ICQ("I seek you") is a really nifty program from Mirabilis Ltd that allows you to chat live and send messages to anyone else on the net who's also running the program.
You can also share URL's with others, send them files (including photos!), read your email and lots of other stuff too!
And the best part? It's FREE!
